📋 Detailed Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed mechanical design and calculations for heaters, structures, and piping systems
- Prepare design layouts, drawings, and technical specifications
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant ASME codes and industry standards
- Conduct stress analysis and load calculations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and project teams
- Review and validate engineering drawings and documents
- Provide technical support during fabrication and installation
- Optimize designs for cost, safety, and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools
- Good understanding of material selection and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
